Folding rollers

We offer folding rolls for various can and lid formats, for both food products and the beverage industry.

From stainless steel to Stoody Metal, AISI 440, AISI D2 in combination with coatings such as TiN, TiCN, Alo3 or diamond, as well as more than 3000 different profiles and a comprehensive material analysis, we support our customers in finding the optimal solution.

STAHL AISI D2

Folding rollers made of AISI D2 steel are used in applications with conventional requirements (for prototypes, test trials, laboratory machines or canned goods production).

TYP K360

Steel with high brittle fracture resistance, particularly suitable for the production of pull-open lids with a fracture line (e.g. Easy Open).

TYP K390

Sintered steel with a molecular structure that exhibits greater hardness and wear resistance than AISI D2 steel.

STOODY METAL

Stoody Metal is a centrifugally cast alloy of chromium and cobalt that promises the highest wear resistance and maximum production rates even under extreme working conditions (recommended for the beverage industry).

CVD-TECHNOLOGIE

In the CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) process, compounds are generated in the vapor phase and deposited onto the workpiece through chemical reactions. Various types of coatings, such as titanium carbide (TiC), titanium nitride (TiN), titanium carbonitride (TiCN), and aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃), can be applied using the CVD process.
