Over the years, new lid types have come onto the market, including CDL, Easy Open, and Easy Peel lids. Most existing systems are incompatible with such changes.

We have followed this development and developed retrofit solutions that can be integrated for our customers.

To save costs, the thickness of the tinplate has been increasingly reduced. In older folding machines, this change in material leads to a greater incidence of spindle slippage. To counteract this problem, the spindle pressure is increased and the machine speed is reduced.

Thanks to the conversion kit, our customers can optimally reposition the quill drive. After mounting the driven quills and performing a proper overhaul, the machine is able to fold even cans with reduced sheet thickness at high speed, thus improving the performance of the entire production line.
